Snow, Snow, Snow

We have been getting slammed this winter with what seems to be another snow storm every week. We have already used 4 snow days at school and it's only Feb 2.

Some think Global Warming is to blame for all the crazy weather but we have a theory behind all this snowy weather and it starts with these two...


You see their kindergarten teacher told them of different things students have done in the past to assure a snow day for the following day.

First you can wear your pajamas inside out...

or you can flush some ice cubes down the toilet...

or you can sleep with a spoon under your pillow...

and last but not least, you can do the macarena three times in your bed...

In any case the girls now believe they are as powerful as Mother Nature and are controlling the weather. The macarena has done us in for the worst storm yet.

Brynn likes this one the best and asks us to wake her up when we go to bed so that she can do it then. One night last week I awoke around 3am with her face about 3 inches from mine
asking "Are you going to come watch me do the macarena now?"

Luckily for us this year the Groundhog did not see his shadow today so were supposedly in for an early spring. We'll have to let the girls know and see what they can do!!
