Iphone use #329

This picture has nothing to do with this post but holy cow we're ready for some spring weather. This was actually from about a month ago when we had that one warm 70 degree day and we can't wait for more!

Last night we stopped at Kohl's since Tim wanted to look at carry on luggage for his upcoming business trip and I wanted to look with the girls for Easter dresses which they wanted to help pick out. While we were walking around we of course had to go to the bathroom because I don't think the girls can go out shopping in any store for more than 5 minutes without one of them, but it's usually both, having to go. As soon as we came out, the power in Kohl's blinked real quick but came right back on. After looking at all the dresses Molly couldn't decide between two so we decided to go in the dressing room to try them on. For the record this was the first time I have ever taken the girls in to try something on, they're usually true to size and half the time I'm picking up clothes for them without them. Brynn was excited by this aspect and jumped right on the chance to try on her dress too. Tim left with Aidan to head over to the other side of the store and we would meet up with him when we were done.

So as we're in the dressing room Molly tried on the first dress and was getting ready to try on the second as Brynn was undressing ready to try on hers and again the power goes out!!! At first I thought it was just going to blink and come right back on but no such luck!! The girls begin screaming in panic as I'm trying to calm them down and figure out what to do. It was pitch black in there and you couldn't see anything at all. So as I'm telling them to stop screaming I'm feeling around to try and find my purse to get to my phone. Luckily I found it and turn it on so we can see to find our way out. I'm trying to get their clothes back on as they're both ready to run out in just their "footies" (their name for tights) Brynn grabbed the dress we were going to buy and was ready to run out topless just with that. We quickly get their clothes on when my phone rings and Tim's calling I guess to check where we are at this point. When I hit the talk button to answer it goes dark so again were in complete darkness and once again the girls are screaming. I tell him I have to go and hang up. We finally head out of the dressing room by the light of my phone and come out and there are a couple workers with flash lights in the aisle. Brynn is still in hysterics but is now yelling that Daddy is lost. One of the employees heads with us to the front as Tim is heading towards us shining his phone at us. We then are ready to leave and the girls are crying again that were leavingl without their dresses so the employee takes our name and holds the dresses for the girls for me to pick up today. I was crying laughing so hard when I was retelling the story to Tim on the way home but Brynn didn't think it was too funny. When they were going to bed later she kept asking to sleep in our bed because she couldn't get what happened out of her head. So we can thank Kohl's or Peco energy for the irrational fear i'm sure they're going to have now over dressing rooms!
