Since Aidan's birthday fell on Good Friday we planned on celebrating with our family on Easter Sunday.
We also had the added excitement of Brynn losing her first tooth and we were very curious who was going to show up first, the Easter Bunny or the Tooth Fairy
(someone was very proud to beat her twin sister in losing the first tooth especially since Molly's was wiggly first)
It was an early morning for us since Brynn woke at 7am to see if the Tooth Fairy did indeed come. Good thing though because it took quite awhile for the oldest child to find his basket that the bunny hid! and no he didn't find it when this pic was taken, if only he looked up!!
Sammy's wondering what the Easter Bunny has against him and I think Molly is eyeing up what she can steal from her brother's basket...
It was a sunny, beautiful day
and they got to show off their Easter best!!
Later in the afternoon everyone arrived so in between rain showers passing through and the Flyers winning their play off game we had a cousin Easter egg hunt.
First up little cousins and friends (who mine as well be cousins) were on the hunt

After dinner and the Flyers game was over it was time for the big kid hunt and yes these were a bunch of big kids. It was all the cousins over 10yrs and I think they had more fun than the little kids!!
It was every man for himself trying to find the 2 golden eggs that were hidden. One was above in the tree and only a little blood was drawn trying to climb it to beat out his brother.
It was a great day with family and friends and celebrating our special guy's 12th birthday.
