So for days now we've been listening to the weather forecasters talk about this big storm we were supposed to get today which would dump 3-6" of snow here before it was done. Aidan and the girls have been waiting for a fun snow day but when we woke up this morning there was barely a dusting. So much for our big storm. Brynn has been asking over and over again when it's going to be winter because I guess to her that means there must be snow on the ground. She's been talking of making snow angels and having snow ball fights for weeks now so even with the little snow there was no stopping them from going out and playing in it. So while they were still in their jammies underneath they put on all their snow clothes including the snow pants from last year that they only wore once but now are much too short ( especially for Brynn) and they look like they're ready for a flood instead of snow. Tim was laughing at the pants but this is the same man that duct taped plastic bags to Aidan's pants when he didn't have boots that fit one year. Anyway, as they went out I asked them to get the newspaper at the end of the driveway so Brynn ran down but as she was bending down to pick it up she looked like she fell down in slow motion. The next thing I see is her on her back making a snow angel in about 1/2" of snow. So her day was a success!!! After about an hour and some frozen cheeks later they were back in and looking forward to the next time it snows!!!
