Spring forward??

How long does it take for your body to catch up with the time change?? Since moving the clocks forward, Molly & Brynn are still an hour behind. They've been sleeping in till after 9 in the morning which pushes back their nap. If they even decide to sleep during it. They used to go to bed at 8:30 every night without any problems. Now they're still wide awake till after 9. If we put them to bed before they're ready it just goes downhill from there. Molly will start before we even leave the room. Everything must be just so for her to go to sleep. She must have her feet covered. Her "blue" baby on the right side. Her bear on the left. They must both be covered too. She then also needs to have her pink blanket up over her head. Since having a cold a month ago she now wants a tissue to hold. Yes she is Lillian Bloomer's great granddaughter after all. I'm waiting for her to start sticking them in her pajamas. ; ) Anyway if any of these things aren't done she'll continue to scream for us and start crying until we come in and fix it. We've tried to let her cry it out but she gets herself so worked up and keeps Brynn up in the process. Sometimes it's just easier to go in and make sure her feet are covered and leave then listen to her scream.

Brynn on the other hand is pretty simple probably because she is way overdue of giving up her plugs ( her pacifiers). Yes she is a closet plug user! She only has them in her crib and as long as she has one in her mouth and her other one in her hand she'll just lay there till she falls asleep. We've been telling her that she's getting to be a big girl and that big girls don't use plugs. But she tells us no that she has a plug. We've also been telling her that she needs to give up her plugs to give to Aunt Chris' new baby since she won't have any. She'll then say she can have one but the other one is "mine". Of course if it was Molly that used a pacifier we could totally reason with her to give it up. Brynn on the other hand is our strong willed child and if she doesn't get her way, watch out. I know it's totally our fault she's still using it probably because we're dreading her not having it to go to bed. Maybe she'll prove us wrong and will be happy with a tissue like Molly!
