Philadelphia Zoo

On Wednesday the girls and I went with my sister Donna and one of her friends to the Philadelphia Zoo. It was such a beautiful day and Molly and Brynn had a ball. They wanted to see the Giraffes of course and this time they wanted to ride on the Zoo Balloon which is a hot air balloon that flies over the zoo but is still tethered to the ground the whole time. I was surprised that they even considered doing it but after each animal that's what Brynn kept saying she wanted to do next. We walked the whole zoo and had lunch and said we would do the balloon before we left. They even went for a ride on a camel with Aunt Donna.
They crack me up when they do things that Aidan wouldn't have even considered when he was their age. When we finally made our way to the balloon there was nobody waiting to get on which we thought was odd. Only to find out they grounded the balloon because the wind picked up and they won't fly if it goes over 25mph. Of course Brynn cried and I thought was going to be inconsolable until I mentioned we could go get ice cream instead. Apparently that was a good trade off because she immediately stopped crying and hopped right back in her stroller.
The girls thought it was so funny that the tiger was eating a bucket

Apparently the oldest Zoo in America has some of the oldest trees as well
