Chicken Pox??? Seriously??

After trying to figure out what the rash is that Aidan, Molly and Brynn all have we went to the pediatrician today only to be told it's Chicken Pox. Even though they've all been vaccinated against it, apparently you can still get it. Luckily it's only a mild case for all of them. Aidan started last week while in WV and I thought it was either from swimming in the lake or the hot tub. On Thurs. after his shower he called to me to tell me he had a rash on his backside and at the time it looked like mosquito bites. There were about 5 of them and that was it. By Saturday he had about 10 more on his torso and Molly had a couple on her lower abdomen as well. Sunday night they both had more and Brynn and Tim had a few. I went to the pediatrician because I was more worried that maybe it was a staph infection and as soon as he looked at Molly he said it was chicken pox. The good thing is that because of the vaccine, they will only have a mild case of them. None of them are itching or have a fever. They only complain that they hurt to touch when a new one pops up. I called Tim when we left the office to tell him and he looked in the mirror and had about 10 new ones on him. He had a very mild case as a child so this seems to be going right down the line. At least I got them out of the way when I was 23!!!! I was sick as a dog with them so I'm glad everyone here isn't that bad!

They look real sick, don't they????
