After a quick storm passed through last night we had the biggest rainbow appear in our backyard. I hate that I can't ever get a good picture of one. I love seeing them as I think it's a little sign from up above. The day of my Dad's funeral it was a beautiful sunny day but after everything was all finished and we were home a quick rain shower came through then the prettiest rainbow appeared as if it was right over my parents house. All my brothers and sisters were headed home at this point but everyone of us saw it whether it be in the car or from their house. I remember thinking that whole day that I wish I could just get some sign from my Dad and I think he was smacking me over the head with them. First there was the four leaf clover my niece found (I'll tell that story in another post) and then the rainbow. A couple years later it was on the day of my mom's birthday 6 months after she died that we were headed to the shore. It was sunny as could be but way up high as we were driving down 95 there was a rainbow in the sky. I remember asking Tim if he saw it too thinking that maybe I imagined it. Fast forward to this summer and we've already seen a few of them. Brynn was sitting at the table drawing this morning and said "Wasn't that the most beautiful rainbow we saw tomorrow?" (One of these days they'll get yesterday and tomorrow straight!!) But indeed it was!!
