We had a very fun Easter weekend spent with family and friends. Friday we dyed Easter eggs with Ryan and Erin. The girls had a lot of fun with it this year because the dye kit we bought also had dye that you could paint on so they spent the whole time painting their eggs. Aidan stuck with the traditional soaking in the cups. They did a good job and weren't too covered in dye. As Molly said she made "a yellow one, a purple one and a beautiful one."

On Saturday we went over my brother Michael's to celebrate his 50th birthday along with my sister-in-law Patti's 50th. Their birthdays are only 4 days apart. all my siblings were there and we tried (key word there) to get a picture of the 5 of us. The one below is my favorite because we were all cracking up and it makes me laugh when I see it especially my sister Donna on the left.
Sunday we woke up to look for the eggs and Easter baskets that the Easter Bunny hid. Brynn was funny because the day before we were talking about the Easter bunny coming and that we'll have to find our Easter eggs. She would always reply with "they're in the frig". Why do we have to find them if we already know where they are?? After church we just hung out in the sunroom for awhile and later had the Gallagher's over for dinner. We didn't have the usual ham for our Easter meal but instead had steaks that Tim grilled. Yummy!!! It was a fun day ending with the kids roasting marshmallows in our fire pit.
We hope everyone had a blessed Easter as well!!
