Aidan's party

This past weekend we finally celebrated Aidan's 9th birthday. First with his friends and then with family. He had invited a few friends to go along with us to the Franklin Institute to see the Star Wars exhibit. It ended up being 5 kids including Aidan and Tim and myself plus our friend John. Thank goodness he came along because it was pretty crowded and I'm sure Tim and I would've lost one of the kids at some point. The exhibit was fun. They had a bunch of the costumes from the movies on display and also some models of the ships. They also had a bunch of on hand activities from making a robot walk, to programming a robot through a little maze, to riding a small hover craft. Which all the kids did and loved. We were there for awhile and then went through the giant heart before coming back to our house to have ice cream cake with his friends. They all left at 5 and then we had our family over for cake and ice cream that night. My aunt came and spent the day with the girls while we were at the exhibit so they had a ball with her. My brothers came that night along with Tim's parents, my Aunt, Uncle and cousin and our friends, the Gallagher's. Aidan had a fun but was pretty beat after the long day. He was thrilled with all the gift cards he got to target and couldn't wait to go shopping on Sunday. Sunday was pretty much a lazy day!! The girls and Aidan slept in till after 10. I actually slept in till 9:30 which is late for me. Tim slept till almost noon. He is truly not a morning person!!

Aidan learned he had a secret talent from Uncle Jimmy
