When Aidan was 2, we never dealt with the terrible two's. He was the most easy going kid around. I used to hear a lot of people say that three's were worse than the two's but again we never had any issues with him maybe because he had no siblings to fight with then. Well the girls turn 3 in less than 48 hours and I can see we're already in trouble. They've been testing big time lately and have been spending more and more time in time-out. When Brynn gets frustrated and starts screaming for not getting her way, she'll put herself in time-out before I do. She'll also go and sit with Molly when she's in time out. Lately, Molly has been worse with the testing. She'll push the limits a lot and knows she can get away with a lot by trying to make us laugh. Tim and I are both guilty for falling for it but she can crack us up. If she knows you don't want her to do something, that just gives her all the incentive to keep doing it. She especially loves to fight with her sister. Today is just one example. We went out to target and on the way home they both were announcing everything they saw. Brynn said she saw a duck and Molly said no it's a bird. They then proceeded to fight for the next 10 minutes till Brynn was screaming at Molly to stop and she kept just repeating over and over bird, bird, bird, etc. I finally yelled at her to stop and of course she has to have the last word in and says bird!!! After I said Molly Joan in my scary mom voice, I still heard her say BIRD under her breath! I can't imagine how many gray hairs I'm going to get by the time they turn 4!!!
