We can get back to normal!! Molly came home today at 11am. She had a great day yesterday. They stopped her oxygen in the morning and she did well all day without it. Plus her fever never came back. The doctor did change her antibiotic late Friday night because her fever started again after I left. He also added a zpack too which was what Brynn was on also. I went in yesterday around lunch time to switch off with Tim. First, I took Aidan and Brynn to his district art show for school. I was supposed to chaperone with his class on Friday but with all the craziness, I couldn't make it. He went on Friday night with the Gallagher's. He was so excited to have a piece of his work in the art show this year. His art teacher told all the students that she tries to get everyone in it at least once before they finish elementary school. Aidan had something in it in first grade so he was thrilled when he got picked again!!

After the art show, I dropped the kids off at my brother's. They had an awesome day with their cousins. The got to go the castle in Doylestown which is a giant wooden playground that looks like a castle. They were there all day long enjoying the beautiful weather and walking through the creek. They said Brynn didn't want to leave the water. I knew they were in good hands and wouldn't miss us with all the fun they got to have.
Molly was doing great all day. She was up around and playing. She was definitely getting her energy back. She still had her iv in because she still didn't have her appetite back and wasn't drinking much other than sips of whatever she wanted. She still continued to get the breathing treatments but was sounding so much better each time. The nighttime nurse came in who was on the night before and she couldn't believe all the progress she made in 24 hours. The only downfall all day was that her Dr wanted to test her blood for some atypical bacteria because he was interested if it was resistant to the first antibiotic. I didn't think much of it because I thought they would take it out of her iv but they had to draw blood on her in her other arm. She was a trooper through it but if I had known I think I would of said no. She was already on the medication and was getting better. The blood work at that point wouldn't have changed anything!!
still smiley even after all she's been through
We're happy to have her home. Right now both girls are napping nice and sound. I think they're happy to be back together and in the same room again!
